Sabelo J. Ndlovu-Gatsheni is Full Professor of History and Canada Research Chair (CRC) Tier 1 in Plural Societies-Epistemic Pluralism and Ecologies of Knowledges at the University of Calgary in Canada. He previously held Full Professor (W3) and Chair in Epistemologies of the Global South with Emphasis on Africa at the University of Bayreuth in Germany. He is a prolific historian and decolonial scholar with over 28 books in his name and over 200 peer-reviewed journal articles and book chapters. His latest publications include On the Mandate of Our Time (CODESRIA Books, in press) and History of Zimbabwe, Zimbabwe in History (University of Rochester Press, in press).
