Kangsen Feka Wakai

Kangsen Feka Wakai lives and works in the Boston area. He is a journalist who has contributed pieces to the Houston Chronicle, Mshale Newspaper, The NABJ Monitor, The Post Newspaper [Cameroon] and Left Turn Magazine
He has worked as co-host of the Pan-African Journal on Pacifica Radio KPFT 90.1FM, and as a contributing guest and correspondent for jazz station KTSU 90.9 FM
His writings have also appeared in Callaloo and African Writing Magazine. He is the founding editor of Palapala magazine, an online journal. Kangsen was a 2008 recipient of Poets and Writers Magazine grant and an HABJ [Houston Association of Black Journalist] student fellow. He holds a BA in Journalism from Texas Southern University.
