    Bill offers in his poetic practice true structural complexity, highly verbal with mastery of literary devices and symbolic representation, while at the same time showing himself capable of Blakean epigrammatic terseness... as in ‘Val (Veracious, Admirable, Loveable)’. This love poem is of impressive simplicity and yet gains great power on that account. The 101 Love poems in Sing Love 101 are simple but with great POWER on that account.
